I’m a collection of ravaged memories and tender fantasies. Of gently misplaced sanity. I’m so hypersensitive to the world around me that sometimes my emotions want to curl up and hide in the darkest corners of my mind. I strongly believe that the world is just a blank page hidden beneath the careless words of a few million people who are only concerned with themselves. I would like nothing more than to erase those words and start fresh. If I could tell people one thing and have them really take it to heart, it would be “open your eyes”. Open your eyes and look around at what is happening. See what is going on around you. And change it. Music is my life. If I could permanently suspend myself in a melody I think I would believe in Heaven. I love meeting new people. I start conversations with strangers. I think Audrey Hepburn was the most wonderful thing to grace this Earth. I have two left feet, except when it comes to salsa. I don’t bite my fingernails. My hair is always in my face. I like to drive at night with the windows down, the radio blasting, singing at the top of my lungs, and I don’t care who sees me. My life is a poem. The sky is not always blue, and the grass is not always green, and I will never try to hide the fact that I’m still searching for the end to my rainbow. I let my emotions control me for better or worse. I’m young enough to still chase after my dreams, and old enough to know that I will never catch them. I’m cynically optimistic.
